NEW! Gelatos, Texture Gems and Accents for Mixed Media Artists

Just in ... a number of new media and tools for mixed-media artists ... scrapbooks, crafts, collages, altered books, journals and more. These are from Faber-Castell's Design Memory Craft® line of artist products. We used these at the CHA Show for the first time ... and they are super easy to use and create with. I did the card above in minutes! Below is the whole piece which is the cover to a book.

Gelatos®, which are the base for this work, are compact acid-free pigment sticks that glide on creamy smooth for vibrant color and coverage.  All Gelatos® blend easily with or without water.  They work equally well on paper, canvas, or wood!
15 pc Gelatos Packs in Pastels, Brights and Metallics ($26.95 per pack)
2pc Gelatos packs in Black & Whte and Gold & Silver ($4.95 each)
Texture Luxe™ is an opaque acrylic paste that's designed to create a thick texture with a shimmery metallic finish. You can mix it with Gelatos® for more shimmer or use as a decorative element in your mixed-media artwork.
Texture Luxe Jars in Gold, Silver and Pearl ($10.95 each)
Texture Gems™ add shiny, metallic dimensions with a convenient fine liner nib to mixed-media projects. Use it for tracing stencils, writing, drawing, creating round droplets and adding detail to projects.

3 pc Texture Gems in Metallics ($9.95 package) • Whipped Spackle Jar ($9.95)
Create shaped dimensions and textured surfaces with Whipped Spackle™, another versatile medium that will work on any surface.

We also have a couple of essential tool kits. The Gelatos Tool Set offers six versatile tools for blending and designing with Gelatos. The set includes a palette knife, blending chisel, stipple brush, a couple of dot dabbers and a drip dropper.
Tool Kits ($12.95 each package)
The essential tools and accents kit has seven tools of the trade to help complete your mixed media projects. It has all the essential hardware for working in mixed media, stamping and various craft projects, including an eraser pencil, water brush and paintbrush, misting bottle, blending stump and wedge, as well as a pencil sharpener.

We have all of these in-stock at our shop in Los Gatos. Hopefully we will have them available online soon ... in the meantime, just email us if you want any of these items.
