Handmade Cards, Tags and Notes

Susan has been busy making these decorated tags and cards. To old music paper, romantic images, glass pendants and doo-dads, she adds ribbon, glitter and her special magic to make these wonderful three-dimensional creations.
Of course, I Love You's are not just for Valentines Day.
If you wish to make your own card or tag, Susan has put together these little do-it-yourself kits. Add you own mementos, photos, stamps, poems, etc. This card is then uniquely yours.

Old Lava Stone Church in Kilauea, Kauai, Hawaii

Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, Kilauea, Kauai, Hawaii On our recent vacation to the Hawaiian island of Kauai, we stopped in to this wonderful old church. We had seen is many times, but this was the first time we stopped to look inside. Wow! The hand-carved altar and communion rail are gorgeous! The stained glass windows are equally as beautiful. The Christ Memorial Episcopal Church is located just off the main highway in the town of Kilauea. It is still an active mission church, with services on Sundays and Holy Days. According to the church's website: There is also an interesting history attached to the church itself. As early as 1888 worship services were held in Kilauea ... By 1924 the time had come for a permanent church in Kilauea ... Czech Glass Crystal Necklaces Bohemia, once part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, is now a part of the Czech Republic. It played an important role in the history of costume jewelry . In the 19th century, Bohemia became famous for being the glass center of Europe. It was in Gablonz, at the end of the Victorian Era , that Austrian jeweler Daniel Swarovski introduced the first cut-glass crystals to successfully imitate the look of precious gemstones … diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds. Even today Swarovski glass crystals are considered top-of-the-line.
